Summary0000562: Console malfunction via USB to UART
DescriptionWhen communicating via USB to UAR, console commands don't work and display looks like the attached image.
The only way to remove this symptom is AC power reset(STB Reboot) in my side.
Please let us know, if there is a way to handle and solve this case without rebooting.

Hi Jewoo,

Please check serial settings in PuTTY's configuration page
1. set Speed (baud) to '115200'
2. set Data bits to '8'
3. set Stop bits to '1'
4. Ensure that "None" is selected for both Parity and Flow Control

If the problem still exists, please check if all wires are connected well.

Hi Kerwin,
I have been using PuTTY with same settings, but have encountered this issue sometimes.
Anyway I am using another terminal program now, and haven't encountered this issue.
So if this is caused only by PuTTy and the symptom does not influence to STB behavior, please close this issue.
